These terms govern your use of this website, operated by SearchYield Digital (Lagos, NG). By using this site or submitting the growth diagnostic form, you agree to them. They don't cover the commercial terms of a specific engagement — those are set out in a separate signed proposal or agreement once you become a client.

1. Use of this website

You may browse this site and submit the growth diagnostic form for genuine business enquiries. You agree not to misuse the site — including submitting false information, attempting to access it in an unauthorised way, or using it to transmit anything unlawful or harmful.

2. Growth diagnostics

The free growth diagnostic is based on what's publicly visible about your business online at the time we review it. It's an initial assessment, not a full audit or a guarantee of findings, and it doesn't create any obligation on either side beyond the conversation it's meant to start.

3. Engagements

Paid work — admissions growth, local SEO, conversion sites, or any other engagement — is governed by its own written proposal or agreement covering scope, deliverables, fees, payment schedule and term. Where these Terms and a signed proposal conflict on a commercial matter, the signed proposal governs. Unless stated otherwise in that proposal, engagements run on a minimum term as agreed at signup, billed monthly in advance.

4. No guaranteed outcomes

We do not guarantee first position on Google, a fixed number of enquiries, applications or enrolments, or any other specific business outcome. Search rankings and enquiry volume depend on factors outside our control — including platform algorithm changes, market demand, competitor activity, and your own pricing, capacity and follow-up process. What we do commit to, within a paid engagement, is the agreed scope of work, a regular reporting cadence, and an ongoing optimisation process.

5. Fees & payment

Fees, invoicing frequency and payment terms for a specific engagement are set out in its proposal. Late payment may result in paused work until the account is current. The growth diagnostic itself is free, with no payment obligation.

6. Intellectual property

Everything on this website — text, design, graphics and code — belongs to SearchYield Digital unless otherwise credited, and may not be copied or reused without permission. Deliverables created during a paid engagement (e.g. a website we build for you) transfer to you on final payment, as detailed in that engagement's proposal; our own tools, frameworks and internal processes remain ours.

7. Third-party services and links

This site links to or relies on third-party services (e.g. WhatsApp, Netlify, Google, Sanity, Cal.com). We're not responsible for the content, policies or availability of those services once you leave this site or use them directly.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SearchYield Digital is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or a growth diagnostic. For paid engagements, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the preceding 12 months, unless the signed proposal states otherwise.

9. Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to this website for anyone we reasonably believe is misusing it. Termination of a paid engagement is governed by the notice period and terms in that engagement's signed proposal.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute arising from them falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, unless a signed engagement proposal specifies otherwise.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site or our services change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
